This week we have been doing a production play.

When they were doing auditions for the play and I did not audition but when one of my friends was out for one of the practice I had to full in for him. I was very nervous and a bit frightened because it was a full school rehearsal so there was many people there. The part that I got was a server and it only had one line and was the easiest part. but than Braxton came back the next day so I had to do a dance called once a criminal and I was in the back row where no one could really see me. Than when I woke up the next day at home my Mum said you have got a big role in the production and I was so confused and I didn’t know any lines and had to learn them in one day or like five hours. when the matinee started I was so nervous and scared I was gonna mess up and I did really bad and I was so embarrassed. than I had to do the once a criminal dance because I was a police officer and had to go up the front and dance In Front of even the front row and than at night time we had another one I did the dance very good and didn’t mess up once I was very proud of myself and impressed. I had to arrest the main villain Fagin and than we did a dance and it was a very good experience I would do it again.

Today someone from St Johns came to she is a in school educator for St John

Three things I learnt about from this session today were how to do CPR and lip to lip breathing if they cant breath. second thing I learnt is how to bandage the wound up and keep pressure on it. The third thing is if there was someone drowning you would have to do Crp and you have to do 2 pumps a second.

This was a great learning experience because someday we might need this if someone was in danger.

Last month on May 9th 2025, the Cardinals elected a new Pope. His name is Robert Francis Prevost, his Pope name will be Pope Leo XIV it means the 14th. Pope Leo was born in 1955 September 14th, Chicago in the United States of America.  Pope Leo was well known to Cardinals because of his high profile role as prefect of the  Dicastery for Bishops in Latin America. Pope Leo became an archBishops at the same time in January 2023, and after a few months later, Pope Francis made a Cardinal.  Pope Leo is the first Pope in the United States of America, he also spent most of his life in Peru and he became a citizen.

This week we have been learning about myths/Legends,fairy tales and folk tale.

You could pick to right a modern fairy tale, Legend or myth. you could write a story in the villain pov or write a story about the weapons in their world like The poison apple, The Godmothers wand, Or maui’s fish hook.

I chose to write about The villains POV here’s a paragraph from my story.

 Everyone called me the candy witch. Then one day a bunch of dumb teenagers set my house on fire and it burned down and she had nowhere to go so I found that same witch that put a curse on her and snuck up and pushed her in the fire just like what happens to her in the future by Gretel.  

Have you ever written about a villain’s POV or written a story about a fairy tale?

My dream Job would probably be a Nrl superstar.

I play prop for rugby and my dream Job would be playing the Nrl for the broncos and than going to play state of origin for the queensland maroons .

I Try to play like Payne has my favourite Nrl player he plays for the Brisbane Broncos and the New South wales But I don’t like the New South wales team.  Payne has runs into all the contact makes big hits and takes big hits. He is the best at his position in the whole competition and plays for my favorite team.

I would like to make the kiwi team too because they are on of the best and I am a kiwi and live in New Zealand.

Whats your dream job?

Yesterday, on Monday at tech we were making a bag in sewing class .

First we had to  get a picture of something we wanted to go on our bag. I picked a nissan skyline gtr 34. which is one of my favourite cars and my Dad used to have a couple of them when I was really young.

Then you put it on a tracer thing and draw it onto your bag it is pretty hard to do when you have to trace a high detailed car. Then we had to colour them in and you could pick any colour. I picked black for the whole car and grey for the windows, But my favorite thing that I put on this was the bright red headlights and lights in the car.

Hi so today I will be explaining what me and my class have been learning for reading.

So first we all did a test to see watch group we are in. If you did good you would be in Crown and if you did alright you would be in passion. But if you did really good and got them all right you would be in the cross group with all the hard stuff to learn about Jesus and stuff about easter and good friday.

I have learned lots of stuff like the entrance procession is in silence; there is no cross-bearer; no candles; no greeting; there will be no dismissal rite at the end.

  Then comes the high point of the Easter Triduum. The community gathers for the Easter Vigil. This celebrates the heart of the Christian faith – whakapono, “dying you destroyed our death, rising you restored our life”. The church is in darkness.

What is Shrove Tuesday?

Shrove Tuesday is is a pancake day were you have pancakes, shrove tuesday is on 4th march, Shrove Tuesday is a Christian  holy day too.

 Pancake day or Shrove Tuesday is a event in the Catholic Christian and Anglican religions. It has been a thing since the 1400s.They come to the church  to confess our sins.

Hello today I will be telling you about my advent calendar.

Advent starts on Dec 1st and ends on 24th which is on Christmas Eve because on the 25th its Christmas day.

Did you know that the advent calendar has two purple and one pink candle.

What we had to do for the advent calendar was do something useful for twenty four says in a row for example clean my bird cage or something more simple like open the door for someone.

Last week me and the people that picked sumner beach went to sumner. when we got there it was so cold and windy, so windy that leaves were flying at my feet and some sand was going in my eyes. Than we sat down on the bench and they split us into groups the year 7 boys with year 8 girls and the year 7 girls with the year 8 boys. We went with this guy(I forgot his name) and they other team got a girl(I forgot her name) First he took us behind the sand dunes and said huddle around this circle I made, Now he was telling us about the sand dunes and how they can not be taken down and if they do they can cause sand storms and roofs on houses collapse because of how heavy the sand could get on the top of the roof. Apparently He said that this one lady had so much sand on their roof it collapses down on top of their house and crushed their Tv and stuff that are expensive. Than he said go make a sand dune and gave us about 10 mins to do that ours was quite tall but not even close to the tallest and the best. Than he told us about the animals of the sand dunes and in sumner beach. my favorite animals was the black winged sea gull and the mice that lives in the dunes. We actually saw the mice and it was on some ones bag and trying to get in mine.  Next we had to decorate our sand dune and ours was pretty good but some people had a full on like display and stuff. Than we got a chance to keep it there or smash it and we all smashed  it and it was like a all out war because people were trying to break ours and we were trying to break there one to. Now we were going on the bus back to school.
